Hengstler Absolute Rotary Encoders
Suconet and Hengstler G1 Protocol

Hengstler Absolute shaft encoders comprise a series known as ACURO. All are CE marked, RoHS compliant and UL approved. Hengstler Suconet absolute encoders are available in one body size (58mm diameter) and with a wide selection of options. Choose from solid or hollow (hub) shaft; synchro, clamping or square flange. Suitable for single turn or multiturn with varying resolutions. You will need to specify the resolution required when ordering and whether you need single turn (ST) or multiturn (MT). The options are clearly shown in the datasheets which you can download here.

There are DIP switches for setting device address and bus termination resistor value.

The connection interfaces are RS485 with axial and radial options. Suconet and Hengstler G1 Protocol are similar physical layer protocols - select on ordering.
