Heavy duty stainless steel encoders will operate within a wide temperature range of -40°C to 100°C. Choose solid, hollow or hub shaft each with varied mounting options, cable connections, shaft sizes and protection class ratings within this category. An unbreakable disk offers extreme shock and vibration resistance coupled together with exceptional axial and radial shaft loading making this product ideal for rugged applications. Each encoder is designed with a unique labyrinth double sealed housing which exceeds IP66/IP67 ensuring quality and reliability. Resolutions of up to 5,000 PPR (Pulses Per Revolution) are available including many output signal options. Heavy duty rotary shaft encoders are RoHS compliant, UL approved and CE marked. Typical examples of use are wind power plants, oil field exploration, construction machinery, steel, saw or paper mills, cranes and offshore applications.
