Hengstler encoder part numbers define precisely what functions and features a particular encoder will have. There are many thousands of possibilities. Every data sheet on this web site includes a part number constructor for that individual model/series number. Typically it may contain 20 digits. Since all encoders are built to order it is vital that we use the EXACT full part number!
The variables may include:
Model or Series or Version / Number of pulses or Bits / Type of flange / IP rating / Shaft type and size / Supply voltage / Output / Interface / Connection.
